SOLARBAYER HVS
This SOLARBAYER range of wood gasification log boilers have an output from 15kW to 80kW and are suitable for burning dry wood, from trimmings and cut-offs to split logs.
Logs of varying length can be burned in each model:
Logs of 50cm length can be burned in models 15, 25 and 40.
- Log lengths of 75cm can be burned in model 50 and
- lengths of 100cm in model 80.
Features of Solarbayer HVS boilers
- Convenient and Easy to use - Fill with wood, light it and everything else runs automatically, and is easy to clean
- The big fuel chamber provides for a long burning time (up to 20hours and more depending on capacity).

Each HVS Set typically consists of:
- Boiler - including a control unit and abgastronic
- Laddomat
- Stratification buffer tank (appropriate to boiler size)
- Thermal discharge safety valve
- Expansion vessel (heating)
Buffer tank
In addition to the boiler, a buffer tank is recommended as part of the system.
Note: Solarbayer recommend a minimum buffer tank capacity of approx. 55 litres per each kW nominal boiler output for best burner performance. But the buffer tank capacity should not exceed 100 litres per each kW nominal boiler output.
Solarbayer stratification buffer tanks with integrated stratification system are the best solution for such a system. Distinctive for these systems are the long refill intervals. You can see more about these in our buffer tank section.
